let me try and recollect it all.
12 hour drive to tahoe with jeanelle, anthony and cherish.
when we were about an hour away from azul's uncle's cabin it started to snow so the road was blocked so we had to wait it out til the sun was up slash the roads were shoveled.
not only that but as we were going up one of our chains broke.
so virginity take-age #1: 12 hour drive through snow
seeing the trees and the snow in the morning was amazing. i never knew how pretty it could look with just trees and ice.
snowboarding
so after probably getting 2 hours of sleep since leaving irvine, we (as in azul, my big, samchoon, jeanelle, lindsey, cherish, anthony and i) got picked up by a complimentary shuttle to take us snowboarding at northstar resort. probably one of the prettiest, movie-like resorts i have ever seen. but then again im being biased since it's the only snow resort i've ever been to.

wearing boots, hella layers, and a piece of wood strapped to my feet for the first time.
going on a gondola and a lift.
i would like to announce i did not eat it getting off the lift. a feat i am definitely proud of considering everyone was freaking me out about getting off the lift.
however, i realized i had no idea how to get up after i fell.
something i still have to figure out. especially after learning how to slow down/brake.
this is probably the sorest my body as ever been.

cooking cornbeef for breakfast. i've been craving that for DAYS it was so bomb.

playing beer pong on a table made only of snow/ice. winning beer pong by making the last cup.
losing beer pong but winning in the fact that my big owes me a dland pass since azul called it if he made the last cup, which he did. yeee for dland pass.

going snowboarding a second time but this time while it was snowing. watching the snow fall
is probably one of the most relaxing and romantic setting thing i've seen in awhile. after i took a pretty gnarly fall i decided to sit for a bit. although i was alone it was really nice just watching the giant snowglobe i was in.
i have a battlescar from snowboarding. the first day i got a bruise under my eye from eating it on my goggles that i was holding instead of wearing for some reason. it went away tho.
and today i got a cut on my left eyelid from when i ate it so hard my goggles moved so that my eyelid got scraped.
i cant even lay down and type since holding my body up with my arms is probably one of the hardest things to do.
i wish i had my camera charged for this trip.
so i can share with everyone how pretty my break was.
well im finally home after sleeping the whole way back down to socal.
now i have to last minute christmas shop for my loved ones.
i wouldve loved to make this post more interesting but im physically spent while being emotionally satisfied and sleep just sounds wonderful.
reality is gonna hit soon
so i want to spend these next few days
feeling at peace.
